About Us

Unity Nursing Institute is a CNA training program provider based in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are set on a mission to prepare competent nursing assistants that are knowledgeable while giving safe and quality health care with a caring attitude.

Students will be able to provide nursing and coordinate care for residents in long-term care, home health, hospice, and hospital settings. Graduate nursing assistants should be prepared to use their skills, knowledge, and understanding for giving safe and quality health care to their residents in their future careers.

Our Goal
At Unity Nursing Institute, our goal is to prepare and give students quality health care education under the supervision and direction of a state approved Registered Nurse. This will enhance the student’s skills and become better prepared to take the state exam, the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP).

    What training programs are offered at Unity Nursing Institute?

    For aspiring healthcare professionals we offer these programs at Unity Nursing Institute: Nursing Aide Training (CNA I & II), Medication Aide, and CPR & First Aid Training.

    How many hours does the CNA Program take?

    One hundred and fifty-five (155) hours for 6 weeks total.

    When does the school year start and end?

    The academic year begins from January through December.

    Where do I take the Nursing Aide Certification Exam after I finish the program?

    Students take their state examination at the school. The school is a certified stat testing center.

    What are the pre-requisites for enrollment in your CNA Training program?

    You will need the following: a high school or college transcript, a drug test, a criminal background check, a TB report, and a copy of your social security number and a valid picture ID.
