To be eligible for enrollment in our CNA training program, you must meet the following pre-requisites:
- High School/GED and/or College(if applicable) Transcript (Official or Unofficial)
- Social Security Card (Unlaminated and readable) *Required for testing*
- Two Forms of Identification (Photo ID and/or US Passport) [Legal Name must match on both]
- Physical Exam Report (Valid within a year of the first day of class)
- Negative TB Test/Chest X-ray or QuantiFeron-TB (Valid within a year of the first day of class)
- Criminal Background Check (Valid within 6 months of the first day of class) *Available through the school for $40. Click here and attach to your application when submitting it.
- Urine Drug Screen (Valid within 6 months of the first day of class) *Available through the school for $40.

NOTE:
- Lab: Monday to Thursday.
- Clinical: Monday to Thursday (7am to 2:30pm)
- Morning Class Curriculum Hybrid: 9 am-3:30 pm (Week 2-3)
- Evening Class Curriculum: 4 pm-10 pm (Week 2-3) and week 4 is Clinical from 4pm-10:30 pm.
Unity Nursing Institute’s Nurse Aide I Hybrid Training Program Is 120 Clock Hours or 4 Weeks in Duration.
There are three components in this program, online, laboratory and clinical. Students will have 36 clock hours online, 52 hours of laboratory hours, 32 hours of clinical, 16 hours of any missed time (Make-up).
The student will need to pass each component to receive a certificate of completion (“pass” of the class).
NOTE: Traditional program is 5 weeks in total. Lectures (weeks 1-2 ) Mondays through Thursdays. Lab portion(weeks 3-4) Clinical week 5 is Monday to Friday.
Morning Class Curriculum: 9 am-3 pm ( Week 1-4) and week 5 is Clinical from 7 am- 2 pm.
Evening Class Curriculum: 4 pm-9 pm (Week 1-4 ) and week 5 is Clinical from 3:30pm-10:30 pm.
