Welcome to Unity Nursing’s CNA I Program! Effective from April 2025, we have started to offer hybrid classes alongside our traditional in-person classes which have proven to be very popular. We have received many questions about the class so please read carefully the following F.A.Q.s and if you have any further questions not found here, then please contact the school at 704-525-1448.
CNA I HYBRID F.A.Q.s
Is the online portion a live class like through Zoom?
No. The online portion is self-paced and students can work through it any time they want. But they MUST complete all modules by the end of the first week if they wish to finish the remaining in-person weeks.
What if I can’t finish the online portion in time?
If you can’t finish, then you still have the option to join the next in-person class when available (refer to schedule below).
What does the Hybrid Program consist of?
There are three components in this program: online, laboratory, and clinical. Students will have 36 clocks hours online, 52 hours of laboratory, and 32 hours of clinical. There are 16 hours allowed for any missed make-up time with the exception of clinical (attendance is mandatory the week of clinical).
All curriculum for the class will be online with no physical textbook to worry about. Students will have access to such items as the student manual, PowerPoints, and lessons.
Students will need to pass each component to receive a certificate of completion (“pass”).
How is the Hybrid Program different from the Traditional Program?
The traditional program is for 5 weeks instead of 4 weeks. Weeks 1-4 will be in-person class and lab work while the last week will be clinical. Tuition for both programs must ALL be paid upfront before the start of the program to secure a seat. If there are any issues paying, please call the school for help at 704-525-1448.

OTHER EXPENSES:
Clinical Uniform: A set of NAVY BLUE pants and top along with WHITE shoes. Students are responsible for purchasing their own uniform.

| Criminal Background Check | Valid within 6 months of the first day of class. Also available through the school for $40. Click here for the document. |
| Urine Drug Screen | Valid within 6 months of the first day of class. Can be taken at CVS Minute Clinic or Urgent Care. Also available through the school for $40. |
